OdoBan from Clean Control, Warner Robins, GA
Written by Jennifer Prince
If you’ve ever been in a locker room after football practice, you would understand WHY our next sponsor’s product is so important. Clean Control is the manufacturer of OdoBan: The Original Odor Eliminator. They are a locally owned business located in the Warner Robins area and have been a perennial sponsor of the Kids and Pros camp there.
Clean Control’s founder, Steve Davison, wanted to develop technologically advanced, cost-effective cleaning solutions. His company has manufactured OdoBan since 1980, and has risen in popularity after its first breakthrough with Sam’s Club, who offered to carry the brand as a test trial in 1991. After 1995, the OdoBan product was carried nationwide. Their product, OdoBan, has unique qualities in performance, multi-use, and environmental safety, as well carries a signature eucalyptus fragrance.
“We didn’t just make a deodorizer when we created OdoBan, we developed an odor eliminator and disinfectant that cleans. We didn’t just make something to mop up grease, we developed bacterial solutions that would eliminate grease, which was the basis for our bacterial line,” says Davison.
Clean Control has not only been an entrepreneurial success, but they have also shown great strides in supporting the community.
“We love helping kids! We are a proud sponsor of the Kids & Pros camp here in Warner Robins, and serve on the board for the Museum of Aviation for the same reason. It is all about educating the kids,” says Davison. “There is a lot of bad publicity trying to come out about concussions surrounding football. Learning how to hit the correct way as a youth will only strengthen football for the future, so we are proud to support Kids & Pros and their efforts to help transform the sport.”
